Our practice was born out of a deep passion for helping women reclaim their well-being in a world that often demands too much. Our founder, Issurah King, witnessed firsthand the toll that burnout, stress, and societal expectations take on women—especially mothers and high-achieving women of color. With a background in public health and social services, she saw the need for a compassionate, holistic approach to wellness that goes beyond diets and workout plans. Women are constantly giving—to their families, their careers, their communities—often at the expense of their own health. Ikaika Wellness was created to change that narrative, offering women the support, guidance, and tools to prioritize themselves without guilt.
From years of working with individuals facing significant life challenges, Issurah learned that true healing requires more than surface-level solutions—it demands a shift in mindset, habits, and self-perception. She built Ikaika Wellness on the belief that women deserve to feel strong, balanced, and whole in every season of life, whether navigating new motherhood, fertility challenges, or the transitions of perimenopause. Our coaching is rooted in empowerment, self-love, and resilience, guiding women to step out of survival mode and into a life of vitality and fulfillment. Through Ikaika Wellness, Issurah has created a space where women are seen, heard, and supported—so they can show up for themselves as powerfully as they do for everyone else.
